Giving Your Brain & Body What They REALLY Need
Oct 09, 2025Sometimes, like a child, our brains AND our bodies don’t want what they need most.
Structure.
Exercise.
Connection when we want to isolate.
Challenges.
Change.
It’s all about balance.
Sometimes we need to listen to our body. Our no.
And sometimes we need to challenge that no.
Sometimes we need to push ourselves.
Out of our comfort zones.
Out of our isolation.
Out of our stagnation.
Did you know that if you don’t keep using your joints to their full range of motion, at some point your body will set a hard limit.
🛑 YOU CANT GO PAST THIS POINT 🛑
And it won’t let you. It will throw up every red flag if you try to push past that point.
It’s trying to protect you.
But it’s wrong.
Don’t get me wrong. Our bodies and minds are incredibly designed.
Brilliant systems.
But sometimes the protection goes too far and is the antithesis of beneficial.
This is where you have to know (like making your kids eat food with actual nutrients in it bc you know what’s best for them) to NOT listen to what your body wants and give it what it needs instead.
Maybe it’s painful at first.
It’s nerve-racking.
Pushing past comfort points is terrifying.
It feels like we might not survive.
And hell. Maybe we won’t. (Surprise, none of us survive this ride)
But I implore you. LIVE.
Live for the ones who can’t.
For the ones gone too soon.
For the ones you miss.
For… you.
LIVE.
