Hey, I’m Amanda Towns.

 

I’m a Strength Coach for the mind, body, and emotions, and the creator of the
'Built For This' Mastermind.

I hold a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology and have over a decade of coaching experience, including six years as my own boss. My work spans nervous system regulation, attachment patterns, recovery from narcissistic abuse, leadership development, and the integration of physical strength training as a foundation for emotional and mental resilience.

For years, my inner world was chaotic. I questioned every decision I made. I overthought relentlessly, scanning for what might go wrong. I clung to relationships that diminished me and sabotaged the ones that were healthy. I learned how to “function” through pain with humor, grit, and an ever-present I’m fine, even when I wasn’t.

That kind of pushing through looks strong on the outside.
But over time, it erodes you.

Mentally.
Physically.
Emotionally.

Eventually, something had to give.

My breaking point came while working in an extremely toxic 9–5,  a moment that forced me to stop managing symptoms and start rebuilding from the ground up.

What followed wasn’t a glow-up.
It was a reconstruction.

I learned how to regulate my nervous system instead of white-knuckling life.
How to build self-trust instead of outsourcing it.
How to lead myself with discipline and discernment.
And how physical strength training became the missing link,  not as punishment, but as a way to anchor safety, confidence, and resilience in the body.

Today, I lead women who are capable, intelligent, and exhausted from holding it all together - women who don’t need more insight, but more strength, stability, and follow-through.
